What perfect timing for a blog hop - the week of my birthday! What a treat to be able to give away some things I made, from the things I have learned to create. I was taking stock of my creative adventures from the past year. And what have I done?
- I have worked with acrylics
- Absolutely fallen in love with making collages and mixed media art
- Done some watercolors
- Painted silk scarves
- Printed on fabric
- Stamped away
- Dabbled in photography
And these were among the bigger adventures. There were smaller forays into metal embossing, book binding and other things. Not bad, I think.
I knew someone once, who would have told me to focus and choose one thing. But I just couldn't. I couldn't bear the idea of giving up any of these. After all, isn't variety the spice of life?
Are there more things that I want to try? Absolutely, yes! But do I have the time? Aaah, now that is the million dollar question. Not a lot of time. I work full time - I develop software, I do other things that need to be done like laundry. I try to go the gym, the emphasis is on the word "try" :-). I cook, I've been known to make chocolate truffles, bake cookies and try my hand at gourmet recipes. I like to read. And, of course, spending time with the hubby. So I'll try to squeeze in whatever my heart desires (of late, it has been wanting to make some jewelry) when I get a chance.

One giveaway will be of tea towels that I painted. They are quite big actually (27 x 27 inches), so they could be small table cloths too. One is painted in a crimson red.
The other is painted in an indigo blue.
The other giveaway is a silk scarf that I painted. I really like bright colors, so this scarf has shades of orange and pink.

Hi, it sounds like you are doing great with your time, you have accomplished quite alot and made some beautiful things. I love that scarf, bright colors cheer me up. Maybe that's why I have yellow walls in my house? Happy OWOH...
