More Happy Mail! This is a blue and silver pendant that I made for a lovely lady called Ursula. And that lovely satin ribbon is from Paper Source. I hope she enjoyed seeing it in mail as much as I enjoyed making it.

Gift Ideas for Mother's Day and Father's Day

 

 

I have been busy and sick at the same time. A nasty cold which refuses to budge. So if you spot any wierdness in the posting, chalk it up to the cold medicine (if I have made obvious spelling or grammatical mistakes let me know!).

I also haven't had the time to make cards or do much in the way of creative projects in the last few weeks. And mother's day and father's day are right around the corner! So I was thinking of gift ideas. A couple of things at Delight caught my fancy.

The first is the cool self watering planters! Really nifty idea, especially if you travel a lot or forget to water your plants. A cool idea for dads who like gardening.

The second is leaf jewelry. Real leaves dipped in gold or silver, attached to these lovely cuffs. Plus, a tree is planted in Brazil for every purchase. I know my mom would like jewelry and I think most moms would. The Delight site has eco-friendly gift options too!

I am still hoping to make the cards and send them on with the birthday cards. Better late than never.
