I thought I would do a post on just the party to explain!
First let me introduce myself to you. Hi ! My name is Amisha. I work full time in the software development business. In my free time I collage, paint, make jewelery and learn whatever fancies me. Right now I am learning photography and Photoshop Elements.
Can I call myself an artist? I don't know! In my head I used to think that an artist is someone who works in a studio all day and makes their living selling art. But the modern definition is "anyone who creates". Either ways do I care about the label? No! I create art because it makes me infinitely happy.
And I suspect that there are more people like me out there. People who work full time jobs and pursue their interests in their limited spare time. Being and staying creative can be hard enough! But people who work in something else have to juggle time, energy to find the "creative time".
The reason I started this blog party is to talk about my experiences - things that stopped me from creating and things that helped me. And I am hoping that other people join in. A little community that cheers it's own on! After all some times we all need inspiration, ideas, kind words and help slaying those dragons.
Details about the party:
When did this party start?
Feb 20, 2011
When is the party?
Every Sunday.
How do you participate?
Talk about your experiences on your blog or share anything you created - it can be art, photography, food, music - whatever you created that made you smile and that you would like to share. I have the Inlinkz gadget available for you to add your link. You will be able to add your link from Sunday morning through Tuesday morning.
So will you join in? Grab the badge from my sidebar, if you like. The more the merrier!
I have decided to let the box be the mascot for the party, <cheeky grin> the proverbial "Pandora's box".
Love the colors of your keepsake box, very unique!

Hi Amisha, thank you for your sweet comments to my Rosary Sunday Post and for the invitation to your Creative Blog Party. I don't do much beading anymore, mostly because I've been focusing on my Fabric Art and don't have a great deal of time to devote to creative endeavors right now. *le sigh* Now I'm going to peruse the lovelies on your Blog...

All right. I'm gonna do it. I'm going to quit putting 'create something' on my to do list every day and then letting that be the one thing that always remains undone. Or maybe I'll just start seeing that the things I do make, a nice dessert or pictures with my kids, are actually enough. Either way, I'm not going to let it keep on being a 'want to'. I'm going to. Thanks for the initiative. See you on Sunday.
