If you have any interest in printing your photographs in different ways check these sites out:
Blurb - You can make your own photo book! Cookbook, Instagram picture book, albums, pretty much any kind of book!
PostalPix - Right now this is an app only available on the iPhone for printing out pics. I tried this out, I printed my instagram pics out in a square format - and the pics were great.
My only problem is that since this is available only as an iPhone app and doesn't have a web area for picture uploading, the photos have to stay on my iPhone to use this.
Printstagr.am - Printing out your instagram photos as posters or tiny, tiny books or stickers and some more ways.
Postagramapp - Send real postcards from your iPhone or Android phones.
Keepsy - Print out albums of your photographs. They hook up with a bunch of places including Facebook, Instagram and Flickr.
Easy Canvas Prints - Have any photograph printed on a canvas! You can hang your on photography on your walls this way. Love this idea! I have got to try this out.
My image for the day - the statue of Captain Parker in Lexington, MA. Photo taken with Instagram on the iPhone and manipulated with different iPhone apps.
Wow, it has been long since I popped in here! I have been doing some thinking about what I want to blog about. If you go back in my archives you will see my first year was about interiors, clothes, art.
And since then I have evolved. Blogging made me want to take better photographs. I have rubber stamped, I have painted silk scarves, painted watercolors and all kinds of things in between.
In the last year the themes that have emerged for me are photography (and Photoshop), jewelry, collage. And of late - cooking!
This blog is not going to turn into a food blog but images of food are very likely to appear. I am going to keep sharing photographs of whatever I shoot. I am going to share images of magazine inspiration collections/collages. And about jewelry, I am upto something but can't reveal yet.
This is the direction my heart is going in. Beautiful images and stories. And in this part of the world where the winters are long and snowy indoor images of food and such things are easier to create.
Today's image is of a creamy cauliflower soup.

I am hooked, completely hooked to Instagram. And I am loving my iPhone, not that I didn't love it before but I love it even more now.
Every once in a while a device comes along that I absolutely love. I remember when my dad surprised me with my first walkman, I hadn't even seen one before (it came to India later than the US). It was love at first sight.
And then when my dad bought me first pocket computer (it looked like a small computer) I fell in love with programming.
And then my first computer.
And now the iPhone. Yes, there were several cell phones in between and my first iPod. But the iPhone has captured my heart. And Instagram helped with the capture of the last corner of my heart.
If you haven't seen it yet, it is an app for the iPhone that lets you take pictures, apply some filters (effects) and share them on Instagram and other places like Flickr, Tumblr, Twitter......
Why do I like Instagram so much? Because it let's me be creative every day. All I need is 5 mins to 15 mins. And I take pics where ever I go, I don't have to remember to carry my camera or worry about trudging around with my camera in rain etc. I get my creative fix even when I don't have oodles of time.
I take a picture in Instagram or my normal iPhone camera app, manipulate it and then share it using Instagram. Easy, peasy!
Even when I don't have words to share I do have pictures. Catch my pics at gorgeousandfun.tumblr.com every day or on Instagram my id is @gorgeousfun.
All pictures here were taken and manipulated by me on the iPhone.
More pink fashion. This time from the Betsey Johnson store.
I hope you stop by for the "Being Creative" blog party on Sunday.
Go on over to Beverly's to see more pink.
If you ever stop by a Lush store, you will experience a riot of colors and smells. All these gorgeous handmade soaps and scrubs and lotions!
So I am sharing pictures from a Lush store for Pink Saturday.
I hope you will join me in the "Being Creative" party on Sundays.
Go on over to Beverly's to see more pink.
I spotted these pink mannequins at the "Forever 21" store in the mall. And they were pink! I did a double take and stopped and snapped away.
Go on over to Beverly's to see more pink.
I saw this at Nordstrom's in the mall.....
Oh and I hope that you will join me for the Being Creative party this Sunday!
I am at a loss for things to post, with the cold and the snow, I haven't been going out and taking pictures. And daylight is gone by the time I leave work. And I am tired so maybe that's why this chair popped into my head.
So this is a picture from last summer. I saw this chair hanging out at the edge of a field. Just sitting there. Now the practical me knows that it was out there for trash. But I think it is more fun to imagine that it was there for a weary traveller to rest or for some children to play. Anyone remember the game of musical chairs?
Sharing gorgeousness
